Pro

prisons are too crowded as more and more people try and use violence against guards and othe inmates
itsagodthing

Con

Ok what do you want the people to do kill them no they have families who still care the government could be sued and they have a right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness in prison still that and I have an uncle in prison awaiting trial for a murder he didn't commit if he gets killed by the government for overcrowded prisons I will be mad and sue so take that government anyway ya know
Debate Round No. 1
derperlerperderp

Pro

killing off the prisoners is not a good idea as it could influence the changes in government and give the country a tyrant-like image.
itsagodthing

Con

Exactly but also we can"t let them out either that would be like starting a million small tornadoes in America and it wouldn"t be pretty

Benjamin, you don't have a complete view on all the credentials that could influence the outcome

Besides that there are many innocent people in prison.

"Prisons should be less crowded." I don't disagree with this, but how will government plan to enforce this? Kill prisoners randomly? Con has a strong case against government's feasibility

I don't think anyone has a reason to disagree.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct - Both forfeited the final round. S&G - Tie. Both had minor spelling and grammatical errors such as improper capitalization or lack of punctuation marks. Arguments - Con. I'm forced to award this to con since Pro failed to provide any real rebuttals against Con's counter-arguments. Due to Pro having the BOP and then forfeiting the final round, which stopped him from having any chances of rebutting, Con wins arguments. Sources - Tie. Neither utilized sources in this debate.
