I would like to debate on whether or not God exists. My opponent must submit absolute proof.

Yes I must agree,"this is a hard one to prove", (BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE ;-)

There are many angles from which to front my Argument, But let me firstly thank my opponent the Instigator for introducing a topic close to my heart and in times passed, a subject I have spent many hours researching thoroughly.

I believe I could take my side of the argument into any court of law and win !

I have for many years believed in the God of Abraham, and through honest study I was able to find avenues to prove it.

Firstly I politely request my opponent to confirm one simple universally acceptable fact relating the the Bible as this will be pivotal in my evidence

A) The Bible (KJV 1611) was indeed written and put together over a period of around 1500 years and completed some 2,000 years ago
(Accepting it was completed around 2,000 years ago would suffice)

NEW TESTIMENT TIMESPAN (BRIEF SUMMERY)
Mark
Mark's Gospel, written by Mark, circa 67 AD

Matthew
Matthew's Gospel written by Matthew, circa 68 AD

70 AD Destruction of Jerusalem by Titus

73 AD Fall of Masada

John
John's Gospel, written by the Apostle John, circa 90 AD

1 John
1 John, 90 AD, written by the Apostle John

2 John
2 John, 91 AD, written by the Apostle John

3 John
3 John, 92 AD, written by the Apostle John

Revelation
Revelation, 96 AD, written by the Apostle John from the Isle of Patmos, closes the Canon of Scripture

the last book of the bible is named "Revelations" written by John, it carries around 670 prophesies, I accept prophesies can be twisted and presented to mean things other than what is written, so for this reason when I use a prophesy as support or to bolster my argument I will use the strict guideline as stipulated by Peter in 2 peter 1:20-" no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation". = "the bible defines it's self perfectly" That means I can in no way tell you my opinion of what a prophetic symbol means in prophecy. I must allow the Bible to identify them.

Example:- Revelation 13
1 "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy" If I were to say the "ten horns" mentioned in this scripture = "kings/ authority",, then it must be followed with scripture, = Revelation 17:12, "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings"..then I may choose to elaborate further... (Kings = Strong's #G935 = basileus) = leader of the people, prince, commander, lord of the land,"king", - Root Word (Etymology)
Probably from βάσις (#G939) (through the notion of a foundation of power)

REORGANIZATION OF THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD INTO 10 SUPER NATIONS ! (HORNS)
North America [N.A.F.T.A.]
Western Europe
Japan
Australia, South Africa, and the rest of the market-economy of the developed world.
Eastern Europe, including Russia
Latin America
North Africa and the Middle East
Tropical Africa
South and Southeast Asia
China
10 Super Nation States, or 10 Regions. This is a shocking revelation, since the world has been controlled by individual sovereign nations since the Tower of Babel 5,000 years ago. Today, there are over 170 sovereign nations in the world today. A new governmental structure is being silently erected over these 170+ sovereign nations Before our very eyes, a new government is being erected; this plan, originally published in 1974 in "Mankind At The Turning Point", is being implemented. And when it is finally implemented, it will fulfill this Biblical prophecy of 10 Nations at the End of the Age.
Thus "prophesy fulfilled" !, (FOR EXAMPLE PURPOSES ONLY,HOWEVER IT'S ALL TRUE !)

As you may have concluded my angle will be centered on biblical "Prophesy fulfilled" (1611 KJV) = 100% accurate and beyond mans capability to predict = "Authored by God" (God of Abraham)

Disclaimer:-
The evidence which I present is in no way an intended spiritual, intellectual, or moral attack on any individual, though I suspect someone will be offended by the content, for which I will make no apologies

Claim:-
We now have the benefit of Historic records at our fingertips. History is behind us! and I have PROOF that Biblical prophecies were fulfilled in the exact years as well as the exact manner the Bible said they would be.
An astonishing 668 prophecies have been fulfilled and none have ever been proven false (three are unconfirmed). An honest study of biblical prophecy will compellingly show the divine authorship of the Bible. Further, archeology confirms (or in some cases supports) accounts in the biblical record. No other holy book comes close to the Bible in the amount of evidence supporting its divine authorship. As a Christian, I will be taking advantage of these historic records. and intend to use the information contained in these books to prove these facts so as to share with those that do not believe, and win the debate in the process.

However if you the reader as I suspect have wrongly arrived at the conclusion that my whole case will be non structured and/or cherry picked with unrelated iffy or dubious fulfilled prophesies then you're in for a treat and and a rather eye opening surprise !
at this Juncture I await conformation from my opponent as requested on subject "A"

@ Brendon, The Bible is a reliable source. It's authenticity been verified (albeit unnecessary due to inerrancy by inspiration) by the Dead Sea Scrolls as well as philosopher / historian Flavius Josephus.

The Good Teacher wins this one easily. May God get the glory!

You have no proof you are correct, you just assume the Bible is fact and take it from there.

I intend to highlight one biblical prophesied occurrence containing no less than 11 prophesies, and prove the lot, dates included !, When complete, I have other eye opening evidence to bring this debate to it's knees ! ;-)

Well, okay, there are some mad predictions still lying around, but we all know how they're going to turn out.

The problem I have with biblical prophecies is that they only get really specific AFTER the allegedly predicted event has occurred. Christians have given up trying to predict future events, since they are always laughably wrong.

I suppose, i could change it to any evidence. This is a hard one, and its more for fun. I mean, im not a very good debater and i just wanna see someone utlize good skills when confronted with a angle this hard.
