A debate upon the old saying, quality vs quantity. I think quality is more important than quantity.

with a world of only quality, everything is perfect...wrong. Without quantity you cannot describe an item to be high quality. Quantity plays a major role in market production because without poor quality items you cannot make a better item without knowing the flaws of the original. As stated by Chad Ridgeway from the bleacher report, "When Kobe was developing his jumper he"d spend his offseason making 2,000 shots a day. Not taking. Making." this means that Kobe was not paying attention on how good the shots were, he would just make the shots. Yes a Stephen Curry 360 dunk is amazing, but no one can do that all the time. You just want to make the shots. quantity leads to higher quality. You don't learn from quality, you learn from quantity. The reason why is that you can improve your mistakes rather than sitting all day and theorizing about perfection. Bill Gates said "Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years." this means that you will pursue greatness working now than thinking on how you will make the best product ever. When Apple was making IOS, they never knew that they would be making IOS 8 at first. They started with iOS 1.x. Then they improved after, and you should compare IOS 1 to IOS 8 I don't think with their resources before they would start off with.

No, I think quantity doesn't play a role in bringing the improvements.
Quantity items leads to mass-production of items that already have several flaws. Plus in a world where Quantity was one, there would be no need of mass production, for they will be one human with the power of the God, or even more. Improving quality is more important than quantity, isn't it not?
Would you rather prefer a 1000 nokia phones which don't even have internet or 1 ios 8? I would pick the 1 ios 8, for it has many more features and higher quality. How about say 50 broken down slums vs 1 big mansion? Quality is more important and thus better than quantity.
Furthermore, you stated that quality improves due to quantity. But I feel that even if there was 1 ios 1 tested by 1 person, would its flaws remain hidden? True, more people give more opinions, but if 1 efficient human with the characteristics of all was checking it, then it would be possible.
Con seem to be thinking that quality means sitting around and dreaming about perfection. That can even be done in quantity, dreaming about making a large-chain company. Both are attributes of laziness. However, you said that you would improve your products, thus the want of higher quality will only come from quality feedback. Suppose my feedback for ios 1 was 'the phone was made out of metal, i need it to be of wood.' if there were similar low-quality feedbacks, I don't think ios would have much to help them move forward.
Your turn, don't make it too long please.
