Pro

i think they are i want one. what do you think?
ResponsiblyIrresponsible

Con

I accept.

Per convention, the entirety of the burden of proof lies with PRO, who must be able to demonstrate objectively that rattlesnakes are the best pets. In the process, he must establish a criterion for objectivity - i.e., he must demonstrate that any pet can be objectively best. If h fails to do that, you vote negative by default.

Con

Lo and behold, PRO has forfeited - perhaps 15-minute rounds are a bad idea after all.

Reasons for voting decision: Pro forfeited two out of the three rounds of debate, that is, all rounds except the first round which was made by Pro to even present the debate. Thus, it would be considered a full forfeit, and such full forfeits are generally considered unacceptable conduct in all debate settings. Pro also had an enormous burden of proof, to demonstrate that, as pointed out by Con, rattlesnakes are *objectively* the "best" pets to have, and to justify that there even is an objective consideration for the generally subjective and relative quality of "best". Pro's forfeiture made it unable for them to fulfill this enormous burden of proof, while Con fulfilled their zero burden of proof by merely showing what the affirmative had to accomplish. Therefore, arguments and conduct to Con. As always, happy to clarify this RFD.
