See im not sure what you want to call it, but when i draw things, i myself, dont want it to be perfect, since the idea of perfection is not a Real thing.
So people fill the world with drawings of perfect people, and figures.
No one is really shaped that perfect, everyone has there own imperfection, so why draw like everyones bodies are perfect, and then call it real art, when thats not the way it REALLY is?

The idea of perfection is not portrayed in realistic art. Realistic art is the idea of things that can be seen in the world. It is atomically correct and looks and makes a lot of more sense than "free-hand art". Realism is lack of different interpretation. This means that it has a universal meaning and shows the same theme, idea and subject to anyone who sees it. A lot of art has a different meaning to different people and can be confused with that the artist is try to portray or depict. To the audience, they may see an apple being shot by an arrow, while the artist was trying to show in abstract art a bomb being exploded. Artists are trying to get a message across in their artwork and realistic art has a universal idea that it's viewers can clearly see. However, this piece of art can obviously contain many idea inside one and any type of other art can be confusing when trying to depict and idea or theme.
It also takes a lot more skill to create realistic art. You can be any shmuck on the streets to create art that is not realistic. Realistic art takes training, passion, talent, and dedication. If everyone could just become an artist, our economy would fall and no one would want to sustain a real job to keep our government and such alive. It's not hard to see why realism is much better.
Along with the fact that realism shows beauty in our Earth that is tangible and real, and other kind of art is artificial. It is much better to see the beauty that is already in our earth than fabricate some unreal being to become an idol of beauty. However no, realism is not about perfection. There is no such this as perfection. Realism is the idea of real things being depicted in art. A beauty that our world has already seen.
