Pro

This round is for acceptance only.

Con

I thank ScarletGhost for sending this challenge.

Before we begin I will set up the debate structure, BOP and definitions etc... My opponent can feel free to argue against any of these in the next round and propose what should be changed.

Definitions:

1. Homosexuality - Erotic activity with another of the same sex. [1]

2. Immoral - not moral; broadly: conflicting with generally or traditionally held moral principles [2]

My opponent may feel free to argue these definitions if he feels that they are unfair or illegitimate.

Structure:

I propose the structure should go like this;

1st round: Acceptance.

2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds: Arguments and rebuttal.

5th round: No more arguments just rebuttal and closing up.

Burden of proof:

The main BOP rests with me to prove that homosexuality is immoral. Pro mainly has to refute me, but the BOP also rests partly on him to prove that it is not immoral.

Terms:

1. Each participant should have respectable behavior and good conduct.

2. No plagiarism, sources should be properly cited.

3. One forfeit should result in the loss of conduct point but that is all. If a member forfeits twice voters can use their own discretion.

I look forward to a good debate!

Con

My opponent has very unfortunately forfeited the second round.

I have no arguments to extend. If my opponent does not make it back for the next round I will make my case for the sake of debate.

Con

Meh, too busy. If my opponent's not back I'll probably post my arguments the next round. I don't know why pro would challenge me to a debate, then not even make an argument.

Daniel, I would accept your proposal but I have become undecided on this a few days ago.

I would really love to debate you though, so perhaps we can find something else to debate on?

Reasons for voting decision: "Homosexuality is not immoral." So are you voting based on your personal belief or on the debate? You do know that phantom wins due to Scarlet's forfeits and yet you still give all seven points to PRO??? Obvious vote bomb is obvious.
