The United States can't end Plan Colombia for the following reasons:
We can't afford to end the Plan because it creates peace and lowers crime rate and if the U.S were to end the plan their could be a war and the crime rate would increase.

We need to stop Plan Colombia it is hurt the lives of Americans! We gave 10 billion dollars to Colombia and that money was from innocent american tax payers. Colombia hasn't shown that they have used the money for the stop of drug trafficking and their economy is still bad or even worse. The drugs are still being brought in to the U.S from Colombia so that shows they haven't stepped up their security. We have gave free money to Colombia and they haven't shown what they even did with it so therefore we need the Plan to stop.

The plan is helping Colombia so much. It has saved Colombia from being a failed country and create peace with the ones Colombia was not so friends with. The 10 billion dollars has helped fight against drug trafficking and leftist guerrillas in the south american nation. Plus FARC their enemy has shown they are interested in peace talks which is a big step. Colombia has used that money to help their economy from being failed and created peace with the U.S. The plan will united us so therefore we need to keep the Plan.

Plan Colombia has not been effective. Although the United States has already pumped 10 billion into the plan, Colombia is still the number one leading in cocoa productions. It's not our job to stop the COLOMBIA cocoa production it's theirs. We are just giving money and more money to Colombia to get their crap together but their has been no benefits to the U.S because their is still drugs being brought in from Colombia. We are trillions of dollars in debt and the plan is just one more reason we are in debt. So why spend billions of dollars on another country when we need to be helping ourselves out. Your evidence is old and the death and crime rate are high again and they still aren't doing anything. Their are still cartels, kidnappings, murders, and drugs this needs to stop and fast.

It's true that it's their job to fix their but isn't the U.S struggling too right now with their debt? If the plan were to stop the cartels and drugs would be even more powerful and at a all time high. So that means more drugs in the U.S so would you really want that to happen? We need to keep the Plan for as long as possible for the sake of not having war or an out rage of drugs and murders.

The more debt we have won't effect the U.S economy so we are just fine. Colombia's economy is still bad though and we gave them money so they could fix it but they haven't fixed it. This Plan needs to go because we could have used that much money on other things like paying off some of our debt. Plus that 10 billion dollars was from innocent U.S tax payers.
