1. Roblox has better ways to build.
Roblox's ways to build are way better, you can customize the size of your blocks completely, unlike Minecraft which is just cubes. Roblox lets you create custom blocks by combining others together, and you can import custom Meshes which can then be configured further inside the game. There are endless combinations, since every aspect of your bricks are customizable, such as texture, colour, shape, and movement. You can create giant structures spanning the sky, or tiny models to serve for aesthetic purposes. The possibilities are endless.

2. Roblox gives you complete control over players.
In Roblox, you can easily choose who you want in your place within seconds. You can make your place singleplayer or multiplayer, whichever you choose. You can choose to block certain users, or to restrict access to a group. You have complete control over who you want in your place. Minecraft however, is hard to use when setting up a multiplayer place. You need lots of effort and time.

3. Roblox is free.
Roblox is free. You don't need to pay for anything, only if you want to. The benefits of the in-game membership are not needed to have a good playing style. Minecraft is almost 30 dollars, and you can try a demo for 100 minutes.

4. You can earn money off Roblox
Using DevEx, you can cash out ingame Robux for real life money. You can exchange for a maximum of $20,000. This is really good for any aspiring builder, as they can show off their creativity to the world, and get money in return. Minecraft, however, does not allow you to do this as it counts as "selling part of their game," and it violates their terms of service. You can turn Roblox into a fun job that rewards you for your creativity.

My apologies for the long wait for a reply.
As a current Minecraft player and one who spent every day of his life on ROBLOX for about a solid 3 year period, I feel qualified to offer insight as to why Minecraft is the superior of the two.

1. Minecraft's methods of building are simpler, but this does not make ROBLOX's "better."
While there is more customization available in ROBLOX such as size altering and scripting, Minecraft has built a solid, original building system of its very own. We are talking about two fundamentally different procedures. One being an editor system while the other is an in-game mechanic. This is a difference that makes the argument seem futile. The Minecraft method does its job properly, while the ROBLOX method suits its requirements.

2. Minecraft's multiplayer system is nowhere near as difficult as you make it seem.
Even novice Minecraft players can quickly learn to set up servers. Servers, which have more customizable features than ROBLOX.

3. Minecraft continually gives more back to the player, unlike ROBLOX's microtransaction policy.
While Minecraft does carry a price tag, it often adds to the fun by giving free updates and encouraging mods. These updates and mods can provide new mechanics that can truly alter the playing of the game, while some can even change the game completely. ROBLOX on the other hand, while it claims to be "free", simply disadvantages the players who cannot or do not purchase their membership. There are many restrictions that can cause a player who does not have a membership to have to put in much more effort to simply buy a hat they like, while a member can easily obtain this in a matter of days.

4. Minecraft is much more available on a broader spectrum.
While ROBLOX is only available on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, iPad 2+, iPhone 4+, iPod touch 5th generation, Android, Minecraft is available on Windows, OS X, Linux, Java platform, Java applet, Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Raspberry Pi, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita. Many of ROBLOX's places aren't even compatible with mobile devices and this seriously restricts the gameplay.

5. ROBLOX is targeted to a younger audience and is quick to be outgrown.
I personally know people in their 40's who enjoy playing Minecraft, while also knowing of 4 year olds who play the game religiously. ROBLOX is marketed to a younger audience and can be outgrown quickly. However, ROBLOX also falls into the difficulty range of being too hard to understand for some of the younger players. Scripting, forums, and building cannot be truly appreciated by the 8 and under demographic.

1. Minecraft's methods of building are simpler, but this does not make ROBLOX's "better."
Roblox has 2 different types of building, the stamper type and the studio type. These types can be chosen easily by going to your place and choosing the build and edit buttons, respectively. The studio type is what lets you customize your bricks entirely, and the stamper type is a lot like Minecraft's building, allowing you to choose what blocks you want. What's good about the two is that you can combine them, to create great terrain and good gameplay for your place, such as the game Jet wars, (http://tinyurl.com...). The editor system you describe doesn't edit, it builds. It gives you parts and many options for customization, and lets you pick from thousands of free models to help create your place. I don't see how Roblox's building system isn't solid or original. It gives you many tools to completely change your brick, unlike Minecraft that only gives you about 100 bricks. If you're having too much trouble changing a brick, then you can just save it as a free model, and access it later.

2. I am a 3-year Minecraft player, and I still haven't found out to this day how to create a server. I would think that it's difficult for other players as well, I guess I'm the only one. Please expand on how servers in Minecraft have more customizable features than in Roblox, which lets you choose every aspect of your game and who can go in it.

3. Roblox also has free updates and encouraging mods, one update is the solid modelling update, which lets you combine different blocks to make completely new shapes, and allow endless possibilities. Roblox's benefits of being a free player does not stop you at all. There are a lot of free clothes, hats, and faces to accompany your character, and building a great place gives you money. This money can be used to buy the item you want.

5. Roblox has many helpful tutorials that are very easy to understand and are both video and text, so you can easily learn to code and script. Roblox's demographic is the ages 8-18, not under 8. These ages can learn scripting, as I know an 11-year old who is an advanced builder and is learning to script.

Well, Con has failed to provide any rebuttals or arguments, twice, so I'm assuming he forfeits this entire debate. Con has one last chance to debate, which is in the next round.

Roblox literally is a babies game. Just some lego shaped figures walking up and down. The sound of the footsteps are bad. Bascially everything in Roblox is competely terrible. It be funny to see teenagers or adults playing this because I will be laughing so hard my tummy will explode.

You should put the two images into one screen. See the differences. Minecraft you can create skins that can be looked alike such as cartoons. Roblox some big fat tummy people walking no so good.

Roblox graphics is really bad, the characters look like lego characters. Roblox came out in 2005 and is coming to a past. Minecraft is the future and more players play it than Roblox! I am gonna feel very surprised for the Pro to argue why Roblox is better than minecraft! If you put two screens and look at the difference. Minecraft has better graphics and texutures because you can have an HD texture pack!

In conclusion, Roblox is a game for 1 year olds

in you r argument you stated "you can customize the size of your blocks completely, unlike Minecraft which is just cubes. Roblox lets you create custom blocks by combining others together, and you can import custom Meshes which can then be configured further inside the game. There are endless combinations, since every aspect of your bricks are customizable, such as texture, colour, shape, and movement. You can create giant structures spanning the sky, or tiny models to serve for aesthetic purposes" this is wrong because in minecraft there are custom textures(meshes) to make each pixel of said "cubes" customizable. Just like roblox but better because there is a limit on profound texture in the game.

You also stated "In Roblox, you can easily choose who you want in your place within seconds. You can make your place single-player or multiplayer, whichever you choose. You can choose to block certain users, or to restrict access to a group. You have complete control over who you want in your place. Minecraft however, is hard to use when setting up a multiplayer place. You need lots of effort and time." Multiplayer servers are very easy to set up as a frequent minecraft player i know. It is literally in a click of a button to white-list a server for on certain people to be on it.

You also stated that roblox is free. Since minecraft is a way better game for obvious reasons isn't it worth the thirty dollars? I would pay even more money for the great performance of the game. In your argument you have show that you you have not done research on the topic and make your case completely opinionated. GG
