Ummm... I don't quite understand your plan... but I would love to argue this.

Although I agree that there are other factors that are needed for marriage, romantic love is still very important when considering a life time bond between two people. Also, I define love as a physical and mental attraction between two people. I do not believe in the "one and only true love" and I don't believe in love at first sight (or that love at first sight is actually meaningful). If you have a different definition of love please tell me it.

I kinda presented my argument last round... so I guess I'm ahead of schedule. I'm just going to wait since we have five rounds.

So I guess we are going with my definition of love.

1. A happy marriage should require love, especially when wedding vows states that both the bride and groom will love each other. How can a successful marriage exist when the two words coming out of their mouths bringing them together, are lies?

2. My definition of love (and this is what I truly believe is love) consists of both physical and mental attraction. Physical attraction is necessary for certain loyalties and trust to be kept and mental attraction is necessary for cooperation. Most importantly, marriage creates a bond that should be able to weather any storm, and it is pointless to create such a bond with someone you are not attracted to

3. If one is capable of maintaining such loyalties without physical attractions, there is another word for that: friendship.

4. If one is only concerned with physical attractions, than a hooker my be cheaper than a wife.

I think this would work better if the other side would argue
