It is pretty clear Ron Paul is not walking away with the win. I believe that he would make a great attribution to anyones administration, leading the economical section of the administration.

There is so many things to say about Ron Paul but i will refine to a few things. 1. His beliefs are absurd. He wants to get rid of the IRS, CIA, and Iraq war. If we did these things our country would be left without money with threats from all over and we would leave a country that is so close to becoming stable in shambles. He believes that all citizens should be allowed to carry a gun. You tell me how this is safe. He is against universal health care. He is not for the betterment of America as a whole.

2. Even if he does have some good ideas no one can take him seriously. With ideas like these no one can see the good.

3. Putting a man like this in charge of anything especially the economical situation would be disastrous. He believes in getting rid of the IRS and decrease domestic spending. You need to spend money before you can make money. We need to invest in our transport systems, education, and other domestic issues.

Wow. I don't think any of you actually LISTEN or READ what his policies on the economy are. His plans are for less government intervention and less socialist-tendencies. They would FREE the economy and allow EVERYONE to thrive. Republicans (neoconservatives) say low taxes for business -- Democrats say high taxes on business, low taxes on the poor. Ron Paul says low taxes for EVERYBODY. Low taxes for the average working family allows them to spend their money in our economy, via the free market system. Low taxes for businesses allow them more freedom to make money and create more job opportunities -- stimulating our economy. Why would people want to give their money to a government who is just going to put it towards an unconstitutional war and mismanage it (unless you think 9 trillion dollars in debt is good management). He also wants to go back on the gold-standard so our government can't simply print money whenever they feel like they need it. This makes our dollar less valuable and compromises the economy. Just saying, that it wouldn't be good because he's "absurd" is ridiculous. You only think he's "absurd" because mass media doesn't put him on an alter and toot his horn all the time.

"He believes that all citizens should be allowed to carry a gun"
I guess you also think the Founding Fathers were all lunatics and radicals as well -- considering this is our SECOND AMENDMENT.

I think he should be there as a general advisor to the president. As a great man once said...

"Putting a libertarian into office is akin to assigning a designated driver to an alcholic party."

Yeah, they interrupted him when he was trying to say important points. Anderson Cooper was being a jacka** that time, anyway.

I agree. However this would never happen. No one takes him seriously. During the debate at the Reagan Library, he got about 2 seconds to answer some questions.
