Pro First off I would like to say that in a country where we say we are land of the free home of the brave it amazes me that we are willing to overlook the rights of Americans and further ignore our adult electorate. It is the right of an individual to choose who their life partner should be. Who are we to allow people to fight in war for rights in which they themselves cannot obtain? It is astonishing to me that this country allows men to bare arms, but simply cannot bare two men in each other's arms! Report this Argument Con white19863 forfeited this round.
Pro First of all I am not sure if it is the computer making the statement of a forfeit or your incompetence to answer the question regarding same sex marriage. The fact of the matter remains that all Americans have the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Con this nation was founded under god well god says gay relationships are wrong. our forefathers looked onto god when they created this nation and it was thanks to god that it has prospered. so to make sure that continues to happen i would suggest we follow his commandments. oh and i am a police officer not incompetent. i have a full time job and get back here whenever i can. you cant be serious. you dont think paternal and/or maternal care are vitally important for a child? So 5 year old kids should be calling their "moms" lucy and lindsay instead of mom 1 and mom 2?

Typically by their name. Psychologically they encounter more bigotry but are perfectly fine. It doesn't negatively effect children to have two moms or two dads.

do you not worry for the children of america, when they are born and grow up with two moms or two dads....what are they supposed to call them? dad 1 and dad 2? mom 1 and mom 2? the psychological affect on children will be dangerous. A child needs to be raised by a single parent or a mom and dad. What about when kids grow old enough to understand that something isnt right and asks their "parents" why he/she has two moms and no father?

No. I don't think equal rights and treating people as citizens in their country is disastrous. In fact, I think it's nothing more than bigotry against it today.

Hahahahaha does anyone find it ironic that the guy saying that gay relationships are wrong is a 21 year old who started a debate in order to hit on a 16 year old girl and who posts his number on his profile for any girls who are interested? HI-larious!
