The reason Satan is better then God is because he is righteous. God has chosen the select few that he wants to be in heaven with him, and that's angels. Satan, however, has let everyone come in. Why would God send a fallen angel down to somewhere where he has to do what he is told? Even if he rules there. Answer me that.
Satan is nothing close to righteousness. Anything bad comes from Satan, and anything good or representing good comes from God, it is in their nature. Even though Satan and God represent polar opposites, they both have one basic goal. God, our heavenly father, wants every one of his children to return to him, willingly. Many religions such as the Jehovah Witnesses believe God has a certain capacity of people that can enter into heaven, that is not true. God would not send his children down on earth and not provide them with a way back home. They don't have to be angels either. Satan, on the other hand wants every one of God's children to disobey God's commandment and lead them to basically, "Hell". I agree yes, Satan wants all of God's children to fall off the path of righteousness, but I disagree that God selects only the few that he wants. I testify of this, in the name of Jesus Christ.
I hear what you say and I believe that you may be on the wrong track. Why would Jesus Christ put himself for people that disobey him? Just as with Eve, God had to plan for her to do it. He knew that she would disobey so in reality, she did what she believed to be righteous not evil. If God wanted her to not go near the forbidden fruit then he wouldn't have left it out in the open for her to be consumed by what she saw. The snake was as the bible calls the symbol of sin. But in reality it was humans curiosity. If what Eve did was wrong, then that means that we were supposed to be mindless zombies destined to follow what we were told. Satan is righteous because he holds connection to us. He has walked with us without our knowing. While God sent his son to try to become the mindless drones that he wanted us to be. He had his son take his life so that we would be ultimately destined to follow what we were told. I don't wish to follow something that gives me no sign to follow. I have tried hundreds of times to get into contact with God through prayer, but each time it came up with no sign of answer and no sign for me to foolishly follow others.
