School is not effective at making students learn. For a first, it teaches students things that they may not use in future life. If it is a claim that we need school to have a better future why do they not teach us HOW to have a better future. Do they teach us how to buy houses? apply for university? No they do not. There are different interpretations of "learning" but when it comes to life lessons, school is not effective.
