There is no reason to stop because its a hands on experience and it helps teach you about the material more then hearing about it during a lecture.
Thejayzone

Con

You ignore the fact there are hundreds of online websites that have virtual dissection. They copy the interior of animals and put them onto the website. Using these resources saves an animal and is not as disgusting as actually cutting open animals. Imagine if a tribe of frogs killed you and opened up your body. I think you'd much rather have them dissect you on an electronic device.

But its a hands on experience
Thejayzone

Con

And? A hands on experience does not always beat out a program. In fact, I'm sure many people have gotten sick to their stomach my dissecting animals, especially if they are young and in school. It is bad in both ways, as you hurt an animal and you could possibly get sick.

what kind of dissections? Which schools? You have to be more specific.

Reasons for voting decision: I think pro meant actual dissection. Con's good case for virtual dissection was never refuted.
