Sex education should be mandatory in all high schools. Teenage girls are getting pregnant because both she and her partner are not informed about sex and the ways it can affect ones life. These misinformed teens may also become reckless and not protect themselves, thus possibly leading to diseases.

I disagree . There is enough schooling for teenagers and pre teens to be informed about sexual education. If they are unsure of what to do or expect he/she should seek help online. In terms of more educational lessons in class, there is enough. It's basically it is what it is. It's up to the teenagers engaging in the act rather than having someone make them feel uncomfortable talking about it.

However, the High School is supposed to be helping the child make their transition into adulthood. High school teens are not adults yet, but young adults, thus should be treated as such and be given the right tools that can serve them in life. Teens do not have the maturity to understand the complexities of an adult sexual life because they are not full adults yet both physically and mentally.

Well teenagers have the media to teach them about sex. It's everywhere. Schools shouldn't have to teach it or inform them because it's easy access to become informed on the subject. Whether schools teach their students or not, there will be some other alternative to matter.

Media is not a good learning outlet for young adults. Celebrites are having sex with everyone in night clubs, politicians are sleeping with prostitutes. Oversexualized pictures give the developing young adult the wrong idea of sex, that it is all fun, instead of showing what can go wrong (pregnancy, std) when the fun is over.

I think sex education should be teached by parents, unless you are a orphan.
