It is integral to the survival of the human race that we allow the ETs a clean slate. We do not even know whether the aliens are observing the Golden Rule. If they are, then they may have no idea why we are detaining their pilots. A campaign against ET sexual abuse might be perceived as an act of war. Surely, we could not withstand such a conflict.

Even if the aliens knew they were victimizing abductees by probing them, this does not mean they will react kindly to our punishment of them.

There is still a chance that once we make the ETs aware of our customs, they will cease their sexual misconduct, and perhaps cease abductions altogether.

The risk is to great for us to instigate the ETs. Their technology is far too superior. Our only hope to be treated with mercy is to obey them.

I disagree.

It is integral to the survival of the human race that we allow the pink unicorns a clean slate. We do not even know whether the unicorns are observing the Golden Rule. I fail to see the relationship between pink unicorn sexual abuse and that of ETs.

Con

They both exist physically, so there is a correlation.

My opponent has failed to show support for the argument, "Sexual abuse already perpetrated by extra-terrestrials during abductions should NOT be forgiven." He has not even attempted to make this argument. At best, my opponent's argument could be construed to support the claim that ETs do not exist, but even if I were to concede this, that would not support the position my opponent was supposed to take.

I am sorry for having disappointed so many who wanted some sort of strange entertainment to surmise from the interpretation of this debate. Having said that, it is my belief that allowing the ETs a clean slate is not in fact integral to the survival of the human race.

The Golden Rule applies only to humans, as it was created, designed, and modified by humans. As Napolean of Animal Farm famously once said, "All animals are equal, some are more equal than others." Having established that fact, would you consider aliens a part of an anthropomorphic humanity or a bio-centric atmosphere? Is the biosphere of which the three domains, the six kingdoms, and the hundreds of thousands of species contained on this planet big enough for the endurance of two major competitive consumer-based heterozygous entities located at the top of the food chain? We do not even know if the ETs are autotrophic or heterotrophic, we may only assume.

The aliens did not know, nor did they care that they were victimizing abductes through extensive probating, as it was mere determining of whether or not an established consensus could have been reached through possessing superficial knowledge as to the current capacity of humanity. One may only assume that the ETs are a benign and sentient race, we do not know if they possess the humanity, or lack it, to have an emotion-based judgment stemming from morals and ethics found in the Homo sapien species today. Once the ETs are aware of our traditions & customs, sexual misconduct will still not cease, and strife will continue to exist so long as differing views are shared upon the purpose of females in society.

As this popular TV series (http://en.wikipedia.org...(2009_TV_series) once pointed out, humans may never culminate in the intellect required to gestate nor conceptualize an accurate and detailed understanding of the ET's customs and traditions, resulting in clashes ranging from bantam proportions to that of cosmical occurrences.

With all this having been said, however, there is still hope, and much chance, for the humans to make a comeback. We are currently on the verge of a medical revolution, as acuated by the recent acceptance of the Health care bill. Whether or not this coverage will extend to ETs may still lead upon more investigative inquiries, but should ETs be held under the same scrutiny as that of humanity, or will the uncanny valley effect take place with disgust and revulsion attaining a much higher risk-rate than instigating the expected arrival of the ETs upon modern society today.

Their technology may be far above par as to that of ours, but who is to our technology cannot advance like they have. Spies can be sent out towards their brood to further conclude as to the possible awareness of their species, and triteness will climax in the establishment of civility towards ETs reaching epidemic proportions among the planet and interstellar spacial territories alike.

The Large Hadron Collider may finally bring about the much-awaited anticipation and efforts which have all been put forwards to it and will hopefully help in ending the mystery of the origin of sub-atomic strati and particles, which may lead to the discovery of more advanced and powerful neutrino-based weaponry of mass destruction and havoc.

We should not even go so far as to rule out other earthly beings that are currently living, as statistics conducted have shown that over 80% of time sexual abuse is conducted by family members. While your family members may be part of a secret covenant of ETs lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike at an opportune moment, it is baseless and selfish to cogitate the non-existence of other, more visible presences at hand.

And even if ETs have sexually abused humans in the past, present, and will continue to do so in the future, they should be forgiven because our customary traditions have not yet been understood well enough to conceive a necessitated causation. Mis-communication between our two rivaling hegemonies may bring about World War III as we know it. It is not far-fetched to say that their diminished actions may be wrongly represented in the form of sexual abuse, but who have we to blame? Have we not improperly abused our own inferior Animalia kingdom? Does evidence to concur a substantiated refute of claims not existed based on the grounds that perpetuated actions were not carried out through impotent or spite, but rather for the well being and overall contentedness of this world?

What if the aliens are merely here for our own benefit, not the doubt in which you seek to lay no merit upon their actions and wrongly deny their civility as a result of ignorance stemming from your lack of empirical knowledge? You are unreasonable and I demand an apology of redresses as to the brutishness of your contradictions. God bless the aliens, and God bless the human race.

Amen. Thank you. Vote CON.

lol, my last argument wasnt really an argument. took like 5 minutes to compose. i didnt even bother checking any sources, because i know all of this is just bullsh1t made to entertain pseudointellectual wannabes who need to pull their heads out of their asses because they want to divulge their own pretentious little needs with a false "intellectual conversation" in an attempt to deny the fabrication of their existence

yeah, voting for myself again.
