Mr.Sexy

Pro

I say that the report button be removed because people are abusing it. Just because when they don't know what funny is doesnt me they should report debates. It pisses me off. Grow a pair.

I know some people have humor on this site, this is the example Ill be using.
http://www.debate.org...

So people, dont report if you have your head up your serious butt mkay?
BillBonJovi

Con

I accept this debate.

Ok it appears my opponent is arguing that the report button needs to be removed just because it seems to get debates he finds funny banned.

Well this is actually a very self minded argument he is arguing because the report button is required for a lot of important reasons.

Main reasons the report abuse button needs to stay are:

1. Users should not send or otherwise post unauthorized commercial communications (such as spam) on Debate.org.

2. Users should not collect users' content or information, or otherwise access Debate.org, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers).

3. Users should not engage in unlawful multi-level marketing on Debate.org.

4. Users should not upload viruses or other malicious code.

5. Users should not solicit login information or access an account belonging to someone else.

6. Users should not bully, intimidate, or harass any user.

7. Users should not post content that: is hateful, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.

8. Users should not develop or operate a third-party application containing alcohol-related or other mature content (including advertisements) without appropriate age-based restrictions.

9. Users should not use Debate.org to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory.

10. Users should not do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working of Debate.org, such as a denial of service attack.

11. Users should not facilitate or encourage any violations of these facts.

These facts support why the report button is needed and these facts are far more important than protecting debates Pro just seems to find funny.

Now I ask my opponent to counter argue these facts.

I end my round 1 here...

Unfortunately seeing as my opponent has forfeited his Round 2 means all I can say for my Round 2 is...

Argument extended.

Pro

Mr.Sexy forfeited this round.
BillBonJovi

Con

My opponent has forfeited all of his remaining rounds which suggest he did not know how to counter argue my arguments.

Due to Pro's unfortunate performance in this debate I urge a Con vote...

I thank my opponent for this debate anyway; I wish him better luck next time :)

Reasons for voting decision: Con successfully showed that there were legitimate reasons for removing debates. Debates that violated the ToS or proved to violate users privacy definitely ought to be removed. Conducts to Con for multiple forfeits.

Reasons for voting decision: After reading Mr. Sexy's debates and arguments, I hope he doesn't come back telling us, 'Sheep shouldn't remove members that are humorous' as well.

Reasons for voting decision: The reason for the forfeit was ironic, he was reported to deletion. He almost deserves to win via martyrdom.
