Should Chromebooks be allowed in schools?
No, because the teachers would need to be on a lookout for students to be doing what they are suppose to be. Also, students come home with headaches and start getting bad vision.

Chromebooks are a great tool in schools for all parties involved. It seems that kids nowadays are becoming more and more technology orientated and less and less pen-and-paper orientated. Don't you think it would be beneficial to all parties concerned if we went ahead and killed two birds with one stones and gave the educational community the best of both worlds and appeal to both parties?Rather than try and continue with the same old stuff that doesn't work, transition with the age of technology

It's when the schools introduce giving Chromebooks to every student that I think is the point of this debate.

I don't even get the reason for this debate. Schools have incorporated laptops into education for years now, and chromebooks just make it easier. You say that teachers aren't able to keep their students on track, but there are programs out there that give teachers the ability to see what their students are doing, and it also logs what they search up. As for the headache argument, that can be said about ANY electronic.

Do you just mean computers in general? Or are these problems Chromebook specific.
