On many writing sites like Quotev.com or Wattpad.com, there are several fan fictions. At first I believed that they were ridiculous, unoriginal, and useless. But recently, I've had a change of mind. I read a few of them and I realized something. It's all for fun! So now I want to write one but I want your opinion!

Should = used to indicate obligation, duty, or correctness, typically when criticizing someone’s actions. http://oxforddictionaries.com...

Accept = believe or come to recognize as valid or correct. http://oxforddictionaries.com...

Amended Resolution: Everyone should accept fan fictions.

You have the full burden of proof to prove this is the case.

It is your duty, as you have BOP, to explain why people who only appreciate the informative value of non-fiction and who find fan fictions uninteresting and a waste of time and effort have to accept it.

It is your duty to explain why people who do appreciate them are inherently right.

It is also your duty to explain why it is one's "obligation, duty or correctness" to accept fan fictions if everyone is entitled to their own view on them.

Thank you.

Sorry got busy and forgot.
Freedom. We are entitled to opinions. People may dream about being in Hogwarts and instead they write it down, have an adventrue with Ron and Harry through teh Forbidden Forest. It allows for creativity to expand upon normal measures. It entertains those who cannot access the ability to have the words flow magically to their hand and lets them see a new view on a subject. If they choose to take an idea and make it their own, it's okay. It's not illegal as long as they state where the idea was created. Fan fictions allow space for opinions and for it to be sared. If they aren't interested, they shouldn't read it. They don't need to discriminate the author for thinking between the lines. Everyone is equal. No matter their hobbies or habits and we should accept them.

"Freedom." This is just a one word sentence... It doesn't really assert anything.

"We are entitled to opinions." Who is 'we'? Also no proof given. Additionally, if true, the people who want to ban fan fictions should be entitled to that opinion.

"People may dream about being in Hogwarts and instead they write it down, have an adventrue with Ron and Harry through teh[sic] Forbidden Forest." This doesn't prove that it is acceptable to do so.

" It allows for creativity to expand upon normal measures." What are 'normal measures'? No proof given at all so we can render it false. Additionally no explanation as to why epanding upon normal measure is inherently good or beneficial.

"It entertains those who cannot access the ability to have the words flow magically to their hand and lets them see a new view on a subject." Why should we care that it entertains people? What is so inherently correct about something if it entertains people? Rape, murder and torture all entertain sadists and psychopaths yet not one of them is legally allowed.

"If they choose to take an idea and make it their own, it's okay." Proof?! Totally baseless opinion! Consider it false!

"It's not illegal as long as they state where the idea was created." In their brains?... The point is SHOULD IT be illegal?

"Fan fictions allow space for opinions and for it to be sared[sic]." This is communism. Why should people feel obligated to share things?

"If they aren't interested, they shouldn't read it." Entirely new resolution and added BOP to pro.

"They don't need to discriminate the author for thinking between the lines." And this proves what exactly?...

"Everyone is equal." COMMUNISM IS NOT LEGAL IN MOST NATIONS OF THE EARTH!

"No matter their hobbies or habits and we should accept them." Child rapists have a hobby and passionate interest that we reject :(

You failed.

I won.

That is all.
