In the U.S. 32% of children are obese. If we get the fast food advertising to be avoided as much s possible, or get our selves off of electronic devices that connect to the internet, for at least 8 Hours a day. Us and our children will be healthier by not being brainwashed in our own homes!!!

I agree with it, but people should be informed. Everyone can make a choice on their own. Let's say you live in the outskirts of New York and you forgot your wallet home. You are hungry, and don't have enough money to buy anything at the restaurants nearby. And then you remember a catchy ad you've seen on TV about a new KFC or McDonald which opened close to your position. You go there and eat. My opinion is you should have your own call on this.

PS: If people wouldn't buy it, there wouldn't be fast food.

Yes but also think if your in a city like that you are obviously close to home. I am not saying your wrong but what about children be brainwashed by the advertising from it. If we were to prevent the advertising and the consequences from it we could bring levels of childhood obeseity in the U.S.

I think it's the parent's responsibility to or not to expose kids to fast food. I know there are (very annoying) kids that won't understand, but if you're his/her parent, it's a sign of bad parenting. Just sayn'. Some people do the wrong thing even if they know it will hurt them. They deserve their fate. Nobody black mailed them or something.

Reasons for voting decision: I'm nulling conduct in this one as both sides forfeited the same last round. S&G was equal enough. Nobody sourced. As to arguments: Pro had presumptive BoP. The best he came up with was an argument about brainwashing children, and as Con pointed out it's the parent's responsibility to watch out for that. Pro failed to establish his resolution, so arguments to Con. As always, happy to clarify this RFD.
