Furries are a disgrace to all of humanity. They are all animal abusers because they take part in "yiffing" which to my knowledge is partaking in sex with animals. Everything about their lifestyle is disturbing to say the very least.

Furries, while odd to us are not immoral and thus they should be left alone. People have a right to express themselves, and if dressing up as an animal is what makes these people feel normal and part of a community that accepts them then that is their right. The video should give you a better understanding of furries. It's 6 and half minutes, please watch.

Yiffing is not sex with animals, according to the Urban Dictionary (yiffing is slang and not defined by traditional dictionaries) the definition of yiffing is: "while dressed up in animal costumes, participants grope, fondle, and hump on each other for sexual gratification. no actual sex involved. Usually done in a group setting."[1] So as you now know, there is no animal abuse.

Making furries illegal would place a government sanction on the furry lifestyle, this sanction may send a message to people that those who wear animal costumes are to be harassed, shamed, and excluded from society. This would encourage violence against them. Just as where homosexuality is illegal homosexuals are subject to abuse. There is already evidence that certain people are willing to hurt furries, just a week ago there was a chlorine gas attack at a anthro-con that sent several people to the hospital [2]. Even though these people are dressed as animals they are still human beings and do not deserve this treatment.

I'm impressed a debate from 2 years ago is getting comments. But to answer the question I don't consider debating purple circles anymore.
