In my opinion, Justin Bieber should be deported. He's a spoiled, little idiot whose presence in our country only brings worse and worse events. He does drugs, vandalizes our buildings, is an unruly moron, and just needs to get back to making terrible music. He's already been in jail at least once, and most likely will be again. Now, I'm not saying we should deport him back to Canada. Oh no. Canada shouldn't have to deal with his crap. Nor should any other formal country on the planet. In my opinion, he should be deported to a small island in the middle of the Atlantic, so he can have his own place to screw everything up. Seriously. And yes, I know he says he has depression. But would a depressed person be acting the way he does? No, no they wouldn't. In all honesty, I've never liked Justin Bieber, and most likely never will.

PRO, in affirming the resolution, bears the BOP.

His arguments essentially boil down to this:

P1) If (x) person meets (y) criteria, they should be deported.
P2) (x) person meets (y) criteria.
C) (x) person should be deported.

For PRO's argument to stand, he must either argue that anyone who is spoiled, does drugs, vandalizes, has been arrested, etc. should be deported to a small island. Otherwise, he must distinguish between Justin Bieber and the vast majority of the country -- of the human race, in fact -- who have done some, all, or most of the things that he says Bieber has done. Should everyone be deported? Should everyone get their own island?

He accuses Bieber of lying about being depressed. This is a hefty claim and requires a hefty burden. Even if we said that he is lying, that indicates deeper psychological problems, anyway.

PRO reveals his bias by calling Bieber's music "terrible," which is nothing more than his subjective opinion.

Extend, and still waiting on my opponent's arguments in fulfillment of his massive burden of proof.

Extending once more. PRO has yet to fulfill his massive burden of proof or to connect any of his remarks about Justin Bieber to why he believes he ought to be reported, nor did he source any of his remarks, nor has he addressed the syllogism I have provided. All of his arguments boil down to a mere opinion, and he notes that he doesn't like Justin Bieber -- thus revealing his bias. Deportation is obviously extreme and PRO must be able to prove this point to us.

Anyway, I'll provide a few more contentions with the little remaining space I have.

C1) Innocent before proven guilty

In order to be deported, it follows that you must be able to prove that someone has done something to deserve to be deported, such as breaking the law. As always, the BOP is on the prosecution. Until PRO proves otherwise, Bieber is innocent .

C2) Utilitarianism

PRO may not like Bieber, but he has millions of fans. Why should they have to suffer because PRO doesn't happen to like Bieber?

My adversary has forfeited every round. He hasn't responded to any of my contentions or fulfilled his burden of proof. We have a duty to Justin Bieber as a human being for being to be innocent before proven guilty because humans have intrinsic values. Unless my opponent can prove otherwise, Bieber is innocent and should NOT be deported.

Certainly our justice system demands punishment for many of these, but none of these (if true) seem to be terrible enough to justify exiling Justin Bieber.
