I believe news anchors should watch what they say on national and international television because the hackers and terrorists that caused an event to happen can use the information to prepare themselves better if there was a surprise attack from the police or the military. If they don't say the whole story on T.V,but if they report the whole story to police or military personal, said people will have the element of surprise and a more successful apprehension of the criminals.

1. most of the information revealed by the media is not the most vital and detail one. thus the revelation of such information is not very likely result in the failure of the mission. in fact, the revelation of such information result to nothing. even if the media tells the audience that there will be a surprise attack, it is usually too late. by the time the information is leaked by the media, the police has already arrived at the location and surrounded it from all perimeter. police will never tell the journalist their whole strategy, and if the media somehow can gain such information when the police do not tell them, it means it is illegal and thus clearly prohibited. thus i demand the pro side to provide better and fairer scenario and context for this debate.

2. when the information is obtained by legal access. then the media can do whatever they want with the information including telling the audience the whole story. media's job is to enlighten people with enlightening information, in other words, to educate. if the media is told to choose which information they should or should not tell, it means that the media is controlling the society which is very wrong on every layer. media is not the ally of anyone but society. if the media consider that the information is informative enough, and the content does not go against the ethical conduct of journalism, the media is justified to release it.
