I firmly believe it should be legalized as it will give sex workers all the rights that they do not get today
Now_you_do

Con

I am debating against the legalization of prostitutes in India. I don't understand the purpose of debating this because there is no reason why prostitutes should be legal. It would just feed the amount of abortions , sexual predators, sex offenders, and mafia. I am very interested to see why my opponent would want prostitution to be legal. Good luck

Prostitution is a victimless "crime" that should be legal. Its always been happening and always will. Regulate it for health reasons and to remove the criminal element. Mafias cant, and don't, compete in legal markets fyi.

It involves two adults that are both consenting and it is nobody else's business but theirs.

Reasons for voting decision: Pro had the burden of proof since they were advocating a change in the status quo. Since both sides failed to refute eachother's arguments and failed to provide sufficient arguments I award the victory to Con due to the fact that Pro's burden of proof could not be met since there was unaddressed challenges made to their points. Conduct is tied due to the equal number of forfeitures.
