Should Same-Sex Marriage Be Legal?
Debate Rounds (3)
Laws are made whether or not you are disgusted with them or not, so your disgust is an invalid point.
50 years from now people will look back and think this debate is outrageous. Just like when we look back when it was illegal for African Americans to sit in the front of a bus. Or child labor, or not Today, that debate sounds crazy. But back then, it seemed like a totally justified way to discriminate.

Reasons for voting decision: Con repeated the same argument over and over, which made him lose the convincing arguments point. He made grammatical errors in every round, which lost him the spelling and grammar point. He also lost the conduct point after calling same-sex marriage "disgusting". Finally, Pro was the only one to cite his sources.
