Students Should Not Be Paid To Go To School. Simply because education is a privilege.

I believe at least some students need to be paid, depending on the circumstance.

1. Paid Education For The Betterment Of Humanity

Some students need to be paid by the government or another entity to further their education when said student shows aptitude in an area of need. It's like an investment. You give a little money and watch the prospect grow. Would you not pay a student who was close to finding a cure for cancer, but couldn't pay his way through college after purchasing the required equipment? (This is just one example of many)

2. Paid Education To Lift The Poor Out Of Disparity

Some students come from very poor backgrounds, but have strong intelligence. The government gives these students money in order to reduce the amount of jobless in the poor. As a government, this should be allowed to continue in order to improve the overall living standards of the people

After reviewing these reasons, would you not support this?

1. Rebuttal- The government cannot afford to pay students to got to school. There is not enough money for the government to just give away to students who NEED but does not WANT education.

2. Rebuttal- Once again, the government can't pay money to all the students out there with poor families. Especially if they don't know for sure that the parents are trying to earn money. Since I brought that up, that gives me the idea that parents are going to start thinking that they don't have to work anymore since there kids are getting paid to go to school in the first place.

3. Teachers are not obligated to come to school and teach these children out here. Teachers are the one's that should be getting paid more, not the students. Also, the government is already spending enough money on the students, buying textbooks, providing lunch, even building the schools cause them tons of money that could be going to a better cause.

Tell Me Why The Government Should Reach Their Debt Ceiling For These Students?
