So...kinda go straight to the point. I personally am a student and though i think textbook and writing is kinda lame. Textbook shouldn't be replaced.why? Simple because this allows student to improve penmanship as well as help in art and calligraphy, if u try to argue that it damages tree..i think the real question is why don't we recycle? Therefore it isn't textbooks fault. Turning it rather in the opposite direction, tablets consume energy(electricity) which has to be produced, usually by burning raw material and by nuclear farms which not only the trees but the entire Eco- system.though textbook don't allow internet access i guess computer are better as it provide a faster search as well as being more efficient. Tablet also may result in student not paying attention in class and instead focus mainly only playing games by downloading applications. Dont try and say u will register a system blocking it. Because there are over 5,000 site on internet to download hacked games as well as jail breaking system to allow user full control.....so yep am young, am currently on holiday and vote for me pls! well atually, there is a way to secure the tablets so that nothing else can be accsessed. also, just in case, even though it is truly impossible to hack tablets, the teacher can see what children are viewing so that they will be caught. also, what about textbook vandalization? txtbooks get vandalized all the time! but u cant possibly vandalize a tablet... and if the get vandalized, since there is one for each students, the teacher will know exactly who it was....

Ok, so just a note.....teacher dont always see what the students does, beleive my friend get away with it every single time, as ipad and tabletsromote quick switch between application and ease of movement( has a high probability to make us lazy in the future) also as a note tablets can be vandalised( technically) by accessing the main server point which links all tablets and is untraceable if using on of the schools on computer to do so, tablets are very easy to hack unlike you say and unless a new software of protection is installed everyday and the tablet kept at school( which would mean that the student has to still do the work on paper or computer) the tablet can be reprogrammed or simple jail broken. Don't always believe what the media stuffs the public all the time, witness it first hand and just see how many hacking and jail breaking program there are available. If you so as still doubt it the program you actually talking about is still in beta mode and requires much further work to be truly efficient, the network works simply by linking all the device and having a preprogrammed database to cancel or restrict access to certain program( e.g online purchasing, text messaging or r rated items) however it can still be accessed as not all the site or we pages or application have been recognised. If you are wondering about tracking history then again you are wrong as history can be erased or not kept recorded on the device with special application, therefore the teachers or superiors have absolutely no proof besides recorded data to prove it( which in court isn't enough in most countries). Therefore there is no available protection for tablet safety( well no efficient ones) . That's all for now .
