Yes Teachers and Nurses should get paid more they save lives.

Con

Athletes get paid more because they make more for their respective employers.

The NFL recieved 7.24 Billion dollars last season, each team got roughly $226.4 Million.

Let's contrast that to teachers and nurses.

Teachers, range within 50k-60k a year.

Nurses, make 70-90k a year

I personally appreciate the hard work that goes into teaching our kids, but in a free and open market, athletes just make more money for their respective employers, here's how that works.

Nurses get paid a good salary because they DO saves lives, and saving life comes with high risk and cost,

A neuro surgeon is paid 750k-1.2m a year, because he brings more value to the employer.

Now why do Neurosurgeons make more money than a nurse?
Risk
Stress
A Neurosurgeon making an error can cause significantly more damage than a teacher or a nurse.

*My main point is, the more money you bring in for an employer, the more money you can be paid*
