Goku5974

Pro

There should be violence in video games because if there isn't our society would fall apart
Lee001

Con

My opponent Con has the BoP to show us that our world would fall apart without violence in video games. He must show us that violence has a positive impact on society.

in his defence there is a legit argument behind what he says. for instance lets take a step back and view a society as a group of humans. the way in which humans have been behaving for as long as humans them self has involved violence which has shaped the world we live in today. what causes violence can be anger, fear, relation or a burst of emotion that is within a human. These are all things which come naturally to humans and therefore i believe that there can never be a world without violence. we see violence in nature with the way some animals behave. and we also can see it small children. for example, a child will start having a mini tantrum, hitting/biting his/her mother. This behaviour isn't something that is not learned by a child at the age of 2-3 from someone else. only later on does a child really learn true violent behaviour from the people around them. however the small signs of violence shown at these young ages show that humans will tend to release emotion physically and there for violently. This is why violence will will never end.
onto the matter of video games which links in with the emotions and feelings of a human when playing violent video games. most people play violent video games as an entertainment. I believe that those games can be seen as a digital violent release. something like a digital stress ball. to prove this point we must first find the source of violence. The source of all violence is the mind. a person can kill another person, punch anther person and hurt someone but it all has to start with the mind. the intent to do it. and how do you stop intentions? through distraction and deception of the mind. for example. when you chew gum your brain thinks that you are eating something that it can digest. therefore your stomach releases all the necessary acids that brake food down even though you are not eating. so in the same sense to reduce violence we would need to distract the mind by simulating the subliminal intent via VG violent

I would accept this but I'm tired of people who do not return arguments.

Reasons for voting decision: ....What even? Conduct to Con, because Pro didn't even participate. S&G to Con, because more was shown. Arguments to Con, because some were actually made.
