First round acceptance. I will be arguing why vaping should not be banned in public places, inside and outside. I am looking to have a good debate on this topic because it seems to be a growing issue in popular culture. Good luck!

First of all I would like to define the following terms:

Vaping: To inhale vapors from E-cigarettes.

E-cigarettes: A cigarette-shaped device that is vaporized and inhaled, used to simulate the experience of smoking.

I would now present my arguments on why Vaping should be banned.

1.) It is similar to smoking:

No doubt E-cigarettes are similar to cigarettes if not same. The whole process of inhaling is also similar to that of smoking. The smoker in reality doesn't escape smoking but starts vaping which although reduces the harmful affects done by smoking, but still it is not safe. The most harmful thing about vaping is, that unlike cigarettes, E-cigarettes last very long. Thus, the person doesn't realize the amount of cigarettes he has smoked in form of E-cigarettes, which, amplifies the harm done.

1.) It is addictive:

The nicotine inside the cartridges is addictive. When you stop using it, you can get withdrawal symptoms including feeling irritable, depressed, restless and anxious. It can be dangerous for people with heart problems. It may also harm your arteries over time.

3.) Harmful affects it does to the body:

Vaping destroys your health just like smoking, although a bit reduced. The side-effects of vaping are dry mouth because of frequent inhaling of e-liquids. Some people also experience minor nose bleeding issues. Other than that, frequent vaping also causes puffy and dry eyes.

4.) Advertisement and Vaping publicly:

It is possible that the advertisements of E-cigarettes on Tv and other sources could make smoking popular again. Also the fact, that vaping publicly encourages youngsters and teenagers to smoke or vape too.
