Video Games are not a "Sport". The definition of a "Sport" is "an activity involving PHYSICAL EXERTION in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment." This means that Video Games are undoubtedly not a "Sport". This coming from a guy who has played Video Games since the PS1. I love Video Games, and think of them as a good way to have fun with friends and relieve stress. Though it is impossible to define Video Games as a "Sport". The correct term for Competitive play in Video Games at tournaments for bigger brand name games such as Call of Duty, Halo, or even SMITE is "eSport". The literal definition of "eSport" is an "Electronic Sport". Meaning Video Games would be considered an "eSport" by definition, but not a "Sport".
