Westboro Baptist Church should not be allowed to protest at the funerals of American Soldiers! Just because you have freedom of speech doesn't mean that they need to abuse it. They say "dead soldiers are not heroes", but how do they think they earned their right to protest. THOSE DEAD SOLDIERS are the reason they have the right to protest.

Their just letting people know God hates dead soldiers. Why should that be outlawed.

They should be allowed to protest, because it's a right guaranteed by the first amendment.

They have a right to protest. I wonder if it might be related to the belief that human life is sacred and that war period is wrong (as it tends to involve death, or use of force over a less powerful entity). If this is their belief, then it would make sense for them to assert that dead soldiers are not heroes, because it is ASSUMED that they support, or at least don't protest, the acts of war perpetrated, and perpetuated, by the U.S. government.

Well, with the new picket law by Obama, they can't.
