Wikipedia should be considered a good source, but you need to be aware of when it could be good or bad. The more popular your topic is, then the more will it be revised by the wikipedia team, and the less popular, the less chances it will. So depending on the "popularity" of the topic you can decide weather it is a good source or not.

I was interested in this debate, too bad it wasn't fully conducted! Just wanted to briefly voice my thoughts! What makes something a good source of knowledge? A good source of knowledge must provide true statements generally. In many ways Wikipedia does this. However, even those things considered to be 'reliable sources' of knowledge such as our own sight or our other senses are not necessarily reliable sources of knowledge because they can deceive us. (See blue and black or white and gold debate) Just wanted to provide a quick article that might be of interest:
