Rules

1. First round for acceptance only.

2. No plagiarism; In other words, do not copy someone else's work and claim it as your own.

3. I am arguing in favor of the resolution that abortion indeed, should be legal.

4. You may only troll when things get out of hand.

Failure to follow these rules will result in a 7-point forfeiture.

Bacteria on Mars is excepted as life. An eagles egg is a hefty fee of 50,000 dollars if you ruin it. And a single living, breathing fetus, embryo, or zygote, is not accepted as life. Abortion is payed for by the tax payers. An abortion can also call for multiple health problems for the mother, and a guilty conscience. The risk of ectopic pregnancies doubles, and the chance of a miscarriage and pelvic inflammatory disease also increases. Some people who get abortions die along with their unborn child. Whether by the doctors hands or at home. Bleeding out is a huge problem and many abortion doctors end up having many unsuccessful abortions which cause mental and physical problems in the child as it gets older. This includes loss of limbs, depression, asthma, seizures, and dizziness, and also heart problems. I think this is a huge problem that should be addressed immediately.

First round was for acceptance only. 7 points are automatically deducted from you.

Presentation

Politically, a fetus is not alive. Personhood. It is not legally liable (It is not legally bound and obliged to pay debts), it doesn't have responsibilities (It does not take care of something and hold accountability for it/Take responsibility for something), and it doesn't have limits (Limits on action). However, biologically, it is. Life is merely the existence of an organism. Abortion is unlawful, thus murder. However, how is it supposed to consent to it? Remember that it is unconscious : unaware of its own existence or its surroundings : and that it is under development; in abortion, you simply end that process.

Rebuttals

I won't reply to all arguments.

"Some people who get abortions die along with their unborn child."

That's only a risk, and it does not happen often. It's better than suffering forever if not doing so.

"Bleeding out is a huge problem and many abortion doctors end up having many unsuccessful abortions which cause mental and physical problems in the child as it gets older. This includes loss of limbs, depression, asthma, seizures, and dizziness, and also heart problems."

That's when euthanasia (Mercy-killing) comes into use. If their going to suffer, they can be relieved by that (Unless they are better off suffering from dying).

Only a risk? I wouldn't call dying "only a risk"

Second of all: Usually these symptoms do not appear until tween/teen ages.

The question is really too vague!

Prior to Roe prior to the founding of this country, females had the right to self-abort or procure an abortion any stage of her pregnancy and any method.

Roe was all about allowing doctors before viability.

So are you asking " Should doctors be allowed to help and when?"?
