Alcohol abuse among young people is one of the most common problems in Kazakhstan, because they have easy access to it. For example, most of the clubbers in Almaty are young people who are allowed to buy and drink alcohol as much as they want in nightclubs, despite the fact that they are not legally permitted to do so. The possibility of using alcohol leads them to uncontrolled alcohol usage, which causes many problems such as affecting their health, committing more crime, causing accidents and wasting the time that they should spend on studying. Due to the alcohol abuse among young people in Kazakhstan, government should ban tha alcohol.
You are absolutely right, but on the other hand, it is economicaly beneficial. Our country gets huge income from selling alcohol. You"ve said that young people drink a lot, but it is not the reason to ban alcohol. It is global problem. We just can make more stricter law.
No doubt, it is very beneficial. However, you should consider that our topic is located in KZ. And now we have to choose - healthy society or economical benefit. Actually, I support first option, because according to Steven D. Ehrlich, alcohol abuse can lead to a alcoholism, but other factors include genetic, psychological, and cultural damages. If we ban alcohol in KZ, we can expect healthy population and economic growth in the future.
It is also has bad consequenses. Because, we"ve already had such experience when was USSR there was dry law. People made bad qualified alcohol called samogon, and there was a big number of death. I think it will be better to raise cost of alcohol.
Good argument, finding a solutions is typical for people. And I think that not all people were producing samogon in USSR. However, I support your idea that it is better to raise a cost of alcohol. In my opinion, it is a first step to make people have lost the habit of abusing alcohol.
