I think a company or employer should hire someone with an unaccredited degree especially if the person has proven that they know the theory of the job and also the practical application of the job.

Accreditation ensures a basic level of quality in the education you receive from an institution. It also ensures your degrees will be recognized for the true achievements they are. It is the job of an accreditation organization to review colleges, universities, and other institutions of higher education to guarantee quality and improvement efforts. Non-accredited programs might not help you meet your advanced education or career goals. Some graduate programs won't allow you to apply unless you have an associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited program, so if you choose a non-accredited program for undergraduate studies, you'll have to start all over. Depending on your career choice and geographic area, you might need to prove that you graduated from an accredited program to apply for a license to work in your profession. The same is true for some certification programs. why go through the hassle of applying to a non accredited course, when being accredited would be so much more beneficial?
