Hi I'm AlfaMoon. I say animals should not be tested because its wrong. Animals are not things we can treat like trash. They bleed red, we bleed red. They need food water and a home and we need food and a home. They are just like you or me so, if you disagree join the debate and tell why.

Yes, animals are living creatures and have feelings too, but I think testing on animals is far better than testing on humans. We need to be able to test our medicines on something in order to know if we have the right medicines. What else are we supposed to test on, plants? That wouldn't go very well. Testing on animals, like mice, is the most accurate way of testing without possible killing people or driving them crazy. Think about all the diseases we've been able to cure because of testing on animals. Smallpox was tested on cows and is now eradicated from the planet. Polio too, but on monkies and mice. Insulin was tested on dogs and fish and now helps control diabetes. Vaccines for so many different things have been created through animal testing.

Animals overpopulate humans. They are abundant and reproduce more and more. I don't mean to sound harsh or insensitive, but humans are much more valuable than animals. Humans are intelligent and smart. We build colonies, houses, cities, we rule and reign. We have an organized way of living and take care of ourselves. We've turned the world into one where we don't have to hunt or struggle to survive. We're continuing to grow too. Cattle? Fish? Rodents? Not so much. 84% of the animals tested on our mice, rats, or other rodents and only specially bred laboratory species. Most soft cuddly cute animals are rarely tested on. Only around 0.3% of animals tested on are dogs or cats, rabbits and ferrets fit under the 1% group, and monkies are only 0.15%.

There are rules and regulations on Animal testing. They'll actually stop funding you if you are treating the animals bad.
