Annimals should be kept in zoos. Many people might say that animals should be left in the wild or at their homes. Well what is the wild? Today there are people cutting down trees and turning it into a city or a neighborhood. And this is destroying their homes so what do we call home now. And the safest place we can put them is a zoo. Where they will feel safe and feel like home

I do not believe that animals should be kept in zoos. During my first argument I will explain one of the reasons why I think that animals should not be kept in zoos.

Animals should not be locked in cages at zoos for people’s enjoyment. It is not right for people to force animals into cages, just because people can. For example, lets say that there is a lion in the wild. The lion is happy in it’s natural habitat, it can run free, and they have so much room to run. Then one day a truck drives into the lions domain. They people in the truck get out, and pull out a shot gun type thing. The people watch the loin from behind the brush nearby. Then when the lion turns away, they people shoot a dart at the loin to sedate it. Then the people wait until the lion is unconscious. When the lion is unconscious, the people put it in the back of their truck and drive it to the airport, and ships it to a zoo in the United States. When the lion wakes-up, it sees that it is in a place that looks slightly likes its home, but there are people watching it. The lion gets up and walks towards the people, but finds that it can not move any closer, because there is a barrier between it and the people. Then the lion runs around in its prison looking for away out, but to no avail. The lion lives in this prison without it’s family, without any other lions, with little room to move, and without the thrill of catching it’s food, for the rest of it’s life. Now imagine if you were the lion. Would you want to be ripped away from your family, and not be able to roam freely? Please take the time to think about how all of these animals must feel, being locked up, and always having people watching them.

I will talk about my other reasons why I feel that keeping animals in zoos is wrong.

I went online, and found a few links to websites. These websites have videos about Seaworld, Seaworld DOES fit the definition of zoo. The definition of zoo is a collection of living animals usually for public display. Here is a link to the website where I found my definition of the word zoo, http://www.merriam-webster.com....

Here are the links I found, please watch these videos, and then decide if you think this is right or not.
