Animals shoudnt be used to do testing on because we don't know what it would do to them. Why don't we test it on ourselfs?

Animals should be used for testing. How would we know if the new medicines are same? (by the way that's how you spell it.) Would we test humans, if so what if the drug is defective, I think it's safer on a rat.

Well If animals are being used for science what is the point of saving their lives and protecting them?
Isn't it animal abuse to be poking needles and testing things on them?
Krusher99

Pro

Well, no it's not. They don't just use dogs for testing, they use mice. Not only that they don't only use animals, they use humans as well for testing. How would you like to test new medicines that are untested instead of a mouse?

I think cosmetic testing should end, would you like to get harsh chemicals poked into your eyes? These animals are born to a death sentence, but instead of a quick unpainful death they have to go through a harsh long lasting painful death. Out of all of the new inventions coming out in these recent years there has to be a better way to test cosmetic products that doesn't test on animals, humans, or any other living organism.
