beaches should have rules... Why? Well.. because I know there are some beaches are so crazy its impossible to show up without getting injured. And on quieter beaches, it takes couple of high school guys with a football to ruin everyone good time. Rules give lifeguard more power to make beaches fun for everyone. Without rules, the loudest and most obnoxious people would always DOMINATE the beach

Beaches are meant to be free and open! It's the only American solution! Beaches are meant to be chaos filled swimming holes, not politically correct, sanitized, no-run zones. If you want to swim in a place like that, go to a pool! It's happening more and more, folks are adding rules, rules, rules to everything that was once free and open.

Don't let beaches go the route that playgrounds took!

THIS AWESOME THING (Notice all the climbing things!)

Became this monstrosity: (Notice no more climbing things)

Beaches will take the very same route!

Your topic is very vague. Are you implying that beaches should have special rules that are more stringent than standard law? If so, I will gladly accept this topic. However, if you are merely suggesting you should not be able to murder and rape on the beaches then there's not much of a debate there.
