I think cell phones shouldn't be allowed in school. My reasons are it will only distract the student. Although it could help them find answers it will also stop them from listening to the class/teacher. Therefore this wont help the student learn only make them miss out on the new things they should have learned.

I think cell phones should be allowed in school. My first reason is that are that cell phones are a method of communication, allowing us to communicate with parents for pickup or the status of a friend or a family member during free time such as before school or after school.

My second and final reason is that even though cell phones could cause distraction like Mr. Goldenblade has stated,, our teachers are slowly being replaced by more twenty-first century teachers whom have learned about the behavior signs of students whom are distracted by cellular device (i.e. looking into bags while a worksheet is being worked on, looking at their lap, a light glow on their face).

I will take the next two rounds to respond to your corresponding arguments and to argue my first and my second point. I hope you will structure your arguments the same way, and good luck.
