As you get older more and more of your projects are going to be typed. Is this connected to internet access? Without a computer in school, you will not be able to work on your projects at school. BBC says that 89 out of 100 kids who had computers in school there IQ scores became better. Also, there are educational games on computers that involve using your smarts. Video games are very fun, some could be educational, and a lot could build teamwork. They can play video games with friends and it could help hand-eye coordination. Games could help gain trust and teamwork in people. There are math games on Cool Math Games, and more. Video games can also help people calm their mind. Video game controllers and games are small and easy to bring to school. For example, the D.S, is small and easy to bring, Nintendo Switch controller, and more. It allows children to use their imagination and creativity.
Video games can be bad
for your eyes, but
sometimes kids just want
a break and play for a while. " Video games in the classroom can enhance the learning experience once the gaming session is complete. Teachers can discuss topics related to informative video games, allowing students to narrate simulation to reality."
Five Reasons Why Video Games Should Be Used in the Classroom "
Many kids don"t have the opportunity to use their creativity and imagination. Kids can be able to play with each other at school and share happiness and gain more friendship. Some video games even appeal to kids and they think it is educational. A lot of games can be educational and help kids be more mature. Games such as Sim City. Games like SimCity give people the mission to develop an entire city and maintain its citizens while managing its budgets. They get through and to manage and handle finances. They also foster an interest in a career in business and economics. Kids have competition on games and they have competition in tests, scores, and more in school. Video games also teach kids the importance of speed and getting things done in a timely manner. They also teach kids to challenge themselves. In games, they always try to break their record, like kids try to get a higher score on tests and more. They also encourage kids to finishing tasks on time. That then improves their educational performance.
Students can also narrate simulation with reality. Video games can also help kids think of topics for their essay and more. Some games like trivia can help kids. They can do a trivia bowl on some trivia games which can also count as a video game. After they learned a lot of facts and trivia, they can go on their trivia bowl and answer their questions correctly. They can go to the trivia bowl like a test to see if they were paying attention or not. If they weren"t paying attention during class, the trivia bowl game will prove it. Games can also improve their critical skill and reading comprehension. How? you ask. Video games also present a valuable opportunity to make the important material more relevant and engaging for students. You are also giving your mind a time to rest. Relaxation reduces the risks of heart problems. Some benefits that video games can provide to improve learning in children are problem-solving skills and creativity, visual learning in a virtual world, healthy competition and leadership skills, social aspects, and the future of learning. Games can also teach kids the importance of good decision making, planning and communicating effectively. A number of recent studies can help kids develop emotional skills that show academic achievement. They can also get kids moving and on their feet. Some games like the ones that are the ones that you fix people"s teeth and you go to the next levels when you finish them. Teachers and parents are always saying "What do you want to do when you grow up," You could say you want to be a dentist like the game that sort of simulates how to be one.

There are apps that can make you smarter. For example, they could download kindle if they forgot their books at home. On the Kindle, some books are free. 50-50, it depends. There are also educational games that could help children study. One game could be, Zeus vs. Monsters - Cool Educational Math Games for Kids Grade K-5. Some kids could also use an app named IXL. IXL is an app where you can study math. Since you have an electronic, (iPad) they have calendars so you could check what days it is. It also has a time when you open the iPad. You could also search the web and research. Once I researched with an iPad on the bus, and I did not have to do at home! This proves that you could do research anywhere. iPads are great, as long as you use them responsibly.

I disagree. Electronics can help children in many ways, but there are also severe drawbacks. They are distractions for students, can be used for bullying, and can lower the overall decorum of the school.

Electronics may be very distracting for students. It is unjust for students to be using electronics during school hours while other students are trying to learn. Children come to school for a main reason: to learn. If electronics are involved, it may harm other student's learning abilities and learning pace. Students have several hours after school - besides the time involved to do homework - to use their personal electronics, and that should be the time when they are allowed to use their electronics freely. By allowing the use of electronics in schools, it is wasting the time of teachers and students both. Although it can be rebuted that students do not get enough time to rest in schools, electronics are not the only way for students to recieve a break. If schools discontinue the usage of electronics in schools, it can suggest more communication between students, which is a concern for scientists regarding children in the 21st century.

Electronics may also be used for bullying. Not all families can afford to get their children electronics, and there are plenty of students at school without them. They can be used to segregate those students, as they may not fit in well with an electronic-using crowd. Furthermore, many social media platforms are currently used by students online and can be used to mask their own identity. Some students may use this chance as a bullying device towards other students, and as it is anonymous, no one will ever find out. The app Sarahah and To Be Honest are examples, as students can make accounts and other classmates may post mean and harmful things without anybody every knowing who posted it.

Lastly, electronics may lower the overall decorum of the school. When electronics are used - whether at lunch periods or in between periods - they tend to make students very rowdy. It gets many students hyped - although not in a good way. This can also be another distraction for students in class as they may be anticipating the electronic-usage time in the future and may not be concentrating on class at that moment. In addition to that, when important visitors arrive to see the school, (e.g. parents or school board workers,) they may account for the school as a very low-standard school, persuading fewer parents to want their children to attend this school. It may result in large sums of money lost from the school and the school board, as the school may end up abandoned.

To conclude, electronics are a bad idea for schools. Not only do they instil a negative atmosphere between students and distract each other, it also is a very risky choice and may make the school look bad. Although they may help students in some perspectives, they can also be used after school hours, where students are able to do as they like. However, within school hours, they should not have access to their electronic.

Learning is supposed to be fun. Kids just want a time to let their brains relax. You usually also can use your computer for typing up your essay and your handwriting would be neater and easier for the teacher to see. That makes the teacher's job easier. You are also doing a favor for somebody else. Like I said again, is school supposed to be fun? Yes, there has to be a time when kids can relax. The world is changing into a much more technology world. We need to go green. Thanks for making books and resources, we are cutting down trees. Why don't our teachers just send us resources and we download them? We could have brain headaches if we do not get a chance to rest our brains. Why can we not play games in the morning? Like I said, you are trying to beat a high score in a game, then you could try to beat a high score of yours on a test. In addition, do you know the soccer games like Fifa or the dentist games? Maybe they want to be a soccer player when they grow up or a dentist. Maybe they do not want to slant their who life towards learning. Each person has their own dream and they have their freedom to continue it. The United States is a free country filled with freedom. Every person is created equal and we are all allowed a time to rest and have electronics in school.

Electronics should be allowed in class for educational purposes but electronics should not be allowed outside of class.

There are many ways for a student to take a break besides using their electronics. As 21st century humans, we are encouraging more communication. In periods where students would normally be allowed to use electronics, instead they could be talking instead, and use the time more productively instead of staring at an electronic screen. It can also be harmful to the eyes and damage a student's sight at an early age.

Many electronics also contain harmful material that can take the Earth thousands of years to break down. They also contain unhealthy radiation after it is thrown out. Instead of going green, electronics are making the Earth a worse place.

If students want to use electronics for ANY personal preferences, they should be done outside of school. With the limited amount of time that students have at school throughout the year, it should not be wasted with electronics time. This can be done outside of school.

The United States of America is founded on freedom, yet it still has laws. Similarly, schools have a very expanded amount of freedom, but it still has rules. These rules cannot be broken, and are bounded tightly, just like American laws.

The United States is a free country and learning should always be fun. "Learning is not the product of teaching. Learning is the product of the activity of the learners."
-John Hope

Exactly. Learning is the product of the activity of the learners. If the activity is involved with electronics, it is possible that not much learning is gained. In fact, is has been proved before that electronics distract students and do not help them to learn better. Furthermore, although the United States of America is a free country, the definition used in that term is not literally "to do whatever one wants". There are still laws involved. Lastly, learning does not need to involve electronics to be fun. There are many ways for students to learn well without electronics, they just prove to be a distraction.

Furthermore, electronics are very expensive and are hard to get by. Although each student could bring their own, there are some students who do not have electronics. It would make them feel left out.
