Why shouldn't they?

I accept and will be the devil's advocate for todays debate. Just for clarification when we refer to gay we refer to homosexuals. Let's get this started

I'm not sure why my opponent has forfeited. I don't know if she wants to debate this topic any longer but I will post tag lines for contentions that I might discuss later.

C1: There are vital things that the child needs from both a mother and a father that can not be achieved by a mother and a mother or a father and a father. Basically with homosexual parenting there are things that can not be achieved without heterosexual parenting.

C2: Homosexual relationships have proven themselves short-lasting and unreliable. There is a detrimental impact upon the child when his/her parents divorce. Due to the fact that homosexual relationships don't tend to last long it is immoral to allow them to try to raise a child.

C3: When a child has homosexual parenting they get derogatory connotations from friends at school. At schools homosexuality is something that is very often frowned upon and teased. Kids tell other kids their parents are homosexual when as a matter of fact they have heterosexual parenting. Basically it makes the child an easy bullying target and as we all know bullying has lead to even deaths.

If my opponent wants to debate further I shall elaborate later. Thanks and vote CON.
