I think homework should be banned. It takes away family time from others and stresses kids out. It can make you stay up late and you won't get the best amount of sleep. Post your comments below!

Homework shouldn't be banned. It is important for the students to reinforce their learnings, and homework is the most reasonable answer. Now I know it may cause stress, but this isn't necessarily wrong. It is good to have stress, to prepare for the future stress you may encounter.

Homework Is very important, and teaches not only academic lessons, but life lessons, such as responsibility and organization. There is absolutely no valid reason to which why homework should be banned. I am making a short argument because my opponent has. If he/she continues, I shall continue with a long one as well.

Getting rid of homework would make it really hard on both children and teachers. Now that there is no extra time to teach (homework) teachers have to rush the class. Now that the class is rushed, children will have trouble understanding, and there is no homework to help them. Getting rid of homework would be bad.

Reasons for voting decision: Con's arguments were good enough to require rebutting, yet Pro never provided such a thing. Conduct to Con for Pro's forfeits.
