Voting is an integral part of our democratic society. By choosing a leader, citizens are able to influence the future of their country. Therefore, citizens should base their voting decisions on how well their own ideals and goals align with their choice's.

Children of all ages should not be given suffrage as they lack the maturity, knowledge, and life experience to make such educated decisions. If children were given the right to vote, the millions of votes cast by children would be baseless. The majority would base their votes on candidates' superficial aspects, such as appearance or fame. However, most importantly, children lack the life experience and maturity to decide which candidate would best serve their country. This would result in weak leaders being elected to positions of power, condemning the country to failure.

I wish children could vote. That way, I can have millions of children and force my ideals onto them.
