Kids have the right to choose if the succeed in life or not. They control their life, not someone else! Kids need to choose things, not just their parents! Besides, if you drop out, you can always go back!

Con

I think that kids shouldn't be allowed to drop out of 6th grade because kids need that EDU for the rest of their life. Its ok for them to drop out of high school but kids in 6th grade need that and they really don't have a choice. Most kids don't like school but you cant drop out of 6th grade. Im in 7th and I cant stand going to school but I have to suck it up and go anyway.

Ok, yes it sucked to go to school, but kids need to control their lives. Parents always tell them what to do, and when to do it. You said kids need education for the rest of their lives. That is not true. Some kids drop out of high school, and still make a good living. By 6th grade you have most of the knowledge, and all the other years is just useless. You don't need to know advanced calculus because you are never going to use that in the real world.

Con

You are far from right. Kids at that age cant control their lives and they need parents to help them. Kids need to know all that stuff and trust me it does suck but from what i heard, if you don't learn then you will end up being homeless. No school = no EDU = no money = no life. Yes kids need all of the things that they learn. All of this may seem like a big wast of time but trust me. School is sooo important, no matter what. (also what grade are you in)

If a kid doesn't even get to high school, chances are he will never succeed. VERY,VERY few high school drop outs make enough to truly earn enough to live not always on the edge and NO place will hire you if you haven't even started high school. That means that the government gets to take care of them because they were to young and immature to know the importance of a good education. You could go ahead and use part of this argument for your debate matthewmatt14. I want you to win.

Reasons for voting decision: CON demonstrated stronger refutations by pointing out that 6th graders do not yet possess the capacity to control their own lives. He also argued for the importance of education and how it affects literally everything later in life. These arguments also proved persuasive enough for PRO to concede. Arguments go to CON. In the future, I recommend research to both have sources and develop your contentions. The Internet is a wonderful place in that sense.

Reasons for voting decision: Complete Forfeit from Pro. Conduct is a tie because nobody was insulting, etc. Spelling and grammar is a tie because both had problems with their grammar. Tie for reliable sources because nobody cited anything. Most convincing arguments goes to Con due to Pro giving up.
