School should not be allowed because it has cause over 14 percent of high school students considering suicide and over 7 percent attempted. 10 to 14 year old girls may be in a higher risk of committing suicide. Almost 160,000 students stay home due to the fear of being bullied(ABC news). The sad thing is that not very many schools are trying to prevent teen/pre-teen suicidal thoughts. Gays and lesbian youths are three times more likely to be suicidal than most students. In 2001 in the US, 4,250 young people between the ages of 10 and 24 died by suicide. This is an average of one suicide roughly every two hours. 1 in 5 teenagers/pre-teens do self harm everyday and its not always obvious. Teen suicidal thoughts have increased since then. Another reason why school should not be allowed is because there is too much homework and some of the students might have abusive parents and cannot get their homework finished and the teachers are most likely to complain about it. While on the subject of teachers, Rachel Kolb has stated that when she was very confident about talking in front of her class her teacher soon told her don't ever do it again. She is deaf and a very inspiring woman now.

The debate is whether or not chidlren should be allowed to go to school. Children should be allowed because and education is required for a good job. School teaches various things, and helps people socialize at a young age. Without these skills, it would be extremely difficult to excel in the future, and thus leading people into poverty. Children should be able to go to school, since everyone has a right to education. It is a right. [1] Without school, people wouldn't be able to have jobs, have difficulty interacting with others, and would know very little.

Sorry for the late response, I was very busy.
