School only lets people stay bored , watch the time, *Tick* *Tock*. So we should at least shorten it. Kids have way too much homework so they should not have any. People have had more then 12 Years in school! You think that its wow, thats like jail. Mostly kids should learn at home. Thats great because you can have soup for lunch, play Fifa, MW3, Minecraft for recess too. Well teachers will not lose their jobs, they will get transfered.
See kids have fun, less school, no homework because schools home. Now mom or dad have company if they are home. Please vote yes, WE DO THIS FOR MOTHER RUSSIA! Seriously Go russia!

Con

Since Pro has made the affirmative claim, he accepts the sole BoP.

Quite simply, Pro has brought up things in round 1 that are irrelevant to school.

The following is the definition of "school": an organization that provides instruction [1]

What Pro brings up does not fall under proper instruction of children. Playing FIFA and Call of Duty will not help the student learn trigonometry. They are recreational things that are a part of no legitimate curriculum. The purpose of school is to teach children a certain curriculum so they become educated: it is not for

Pro attempts to pass off unsubstantiated claims without a source as an argument. He claims that school is like prison because children go to school for 12 years. The purpose of schools and prisons are very different. School is for educating the young, whereas prison is for punishing criminals. These are two completely unrelated matters, and should not be considered to be alike.

He says that you can have soup for lunch if homeschooled. This is greatly irrelevant to why children should be homeschooled, but I will rebut it anyway: https://www.google.com...

He claims students have too much homework, but does not back this up with evidence.

In the end, these are just a bunch of unsubstantiated claims, and it does not prove that more homeschooling would be beneficial. To do so, Pro would need to prove that children would learn more efficiently if homeschooled, which would be relevant to the purpose of education.

There isn't much to say. It seems that Pro has gone offline for good. This debate however, is ongoing: and I will make a short statement.

The purpose of education is to have children learn. Until Pro can prove that his idea of what school should be (home school with FIFA and Call Of Duty) is better than what is currently in place, he has not fulfilled the BoP.
