I say that they should not because, the children will grow up being violent. They will also probably get into more fights

Now I am aware that it is not right for children to be playing some violent video games, but it is up to the parent. However, though many would argue, yeah they do become more violent, and in some cases they do but not all. The majority of gamers are that of teenagers, and a large amount are allowed to play violent games. Now not everyone of them have gone on to become some sort of psychopathic warmonger.

Children playing violent video games does not encourage violence or advocate it as a reasonable solution to any conflict. If anything it has been proven that Video gaming have many beneficial factors, quicker reactions, better problem solving skills, easier coping in stressful situations etc. Just because you can gun someone down in a video game does not suggest they could do such a thing in real life surely?

It doesn't make all children more violent in the same way that surgeon simulators don't make someone a surgeon, car driving games don't make some a race-car driver, I don't doubt you get the general gist of my argument here.

I love watching two purple circles fight each other with only opinions and no facts.
