I think recess should be in middle school because it helps with social skills, it builds bones, and gives you lots of vitamin D, which is important, especially in the winter.

Recess is unnecessary. Vitamin D is easily obtainable from supplements, social skills can be built more efficiently throughout the day doing group projects and playing sports in teams during gym class. Also bones are built just the same, if not better during gym class and drinking milk.

Sure, vitamin D is available through supplements, but that means taking fish oils every day, along with a ton of other pills. Take it from my mother, she has a vitamin D deficiency and she hat to take about 15 pills everyday. Plus, what about enjoyment? Recess is proven to lower stress in students, and in gym class they have so much pressure put on them to shoot a basket or make a goal, that they will feel like they let the team down if they don't. In recess, they have the freedom to pick what game they want to play, whereas the gym teacher just picks a random one.
